think-local-shop-bagAIB is set to host two upcoming roundtable calls. The calls, which will be open to AIB members, are the sixth and seventh roundtable calls organized by AIB, and will give coalition members the opportunity to share successes and strategies across sectors.

The first call, “Member Education,” will take place on Thursday, August 4, and focus on programs AIB groups have developed to share information with their members, and what’s working.

The second call, “Shop Local in the Age of Amazon,” will take place on Wednesday, September 28, and look at the best ways to communicate with consumers about the benefits of choosing local businesses in the era of big online competitors.
