AIB has announced two roundtable calls planned for this spring and summer: “Sharing Success Stories and Innovation,” on Monday, April 30, followed by “Succession Planning in Independent Businesses,” on Monday, July 9.
The first call will provide a space for members to reflect on and share their best ideas, new programs, and operational innovations from the past year. The second will focus on the challenges and opportunities member businesses face when considering succession plans. Brief presentations of existing resources and programming that help those looking to retire or sell their businesses will lead to a broader discussion on how succession, turnover, and transitions affect independent businesses.
Participating in these calls gives AIB coalition members opportunities to share tips and learn ideas from across sectors that can benefit their organizations and member businesses.
These will be the ninth and tenth roundtable calls that AIB has organized. Past discussion topics include, “Attracting and Retaining Members,” “Engaging Suppliers in Supporting Indies,” “Best Practices for Member Education,” and “Creating Events that Engage Consumers.”
